The Lonesome Fairy

Little Fairy dwells in a small patch of forest, by a small castle, nestled on the banks of quite a small pond.
Her days are spent with her teddy, and her tea cup, and her favourite book.

She took very good care of teddy.

One day the little Fairy and teddy decided to go for a stroll in search of someone to invite for tea. Teddy, though a very excellent companion, was a Teddy after all, and they aren't really the best sort of  company when it comes to two sided conversation.

The swans and the ducks did not seem to be in a very friendly mood.

The fairy was ever so disappointed, so, feeling quite defeated, she poured herself a cup of tea.

She made a very little fairy wish.

Meanwhile, by the same little pond sat a very imaginative little boy.

Who sat and looked at maps of faraway lands, imagining stories and adventures.

The boy, though he enjoyed his solitary imaginings wished for someone to whom he could tell his tales,  who would laugh at his jokes, and perhaps to share a story of their own.

As he sat, enthralled in hopes and dreams, he seems to have been spotted by a small but very curious creature.

"Hello!"

With that most magical of words the two quickly became the dearest of friends.

They chatted and shared a cup of tea.

He told her tales, and as teddy silently listened, she giggled with glee.

So lovely their time was together, twilight shadows surprised them both. The clever boy and the very happy little fairy parted ways with a "See you soon!"
