Ive always loved taking a nice long walk. I can go in one direction and I'm in the beautiful downtown, another way and I'm in sweet little Bierstadt, or a field with little buds sprouting. If I have to live in a city, I'm glad its this one. In my teens I would walk my dog pretty happily, or walk around the neighbourhood with my friends. Actually, so many of my best moments happened when on a walk! In the last few weeks I have had an extreme case of cabin fever and have been indulging in extremely long walks. There is something about walking around with my headphones on in the sunshine, grey, or even drizzly days, I feel the need to get out of the flat and just roam aimlessly. The shear delight of it, walking often seems like a pointless indulgence, but I have come to realise I need it.
a simple walk
music plays in my ear
a camera readily hanging about my neck
my eyes open
