This seems to be a full on "tour" of a post, as you can see we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (once the two hour car ride stress had left my body, around the time I had my pumpkin beer? ale? alcoholic beverage!!) Pumpkins pumpkins EVERYWHERE, in everything, doing anything, We're pretty sure we had pumpkin popcorn, it was amazing, I wish we had bought two, but alas only the tasty memory and this picture  remain.
The palace was absolutely the show stopper even more than the two ton pumpkin, I want to go back when there isn't a festival just to explore. Even in the rain this place was amazing, Jake wanted to see the inside and the old tower, i just wanted to stroll quietly in the garden.
It was suprisingly kid friendly too Marchengarten was super cute for the little ones with storybook rides and displays, and a splash park(thingy) it was a great place to play. While they were taking a train ride I enjoyed some of the tea I brought and had a lovely quiet ten minuets, that thermos has provided much happiness in the last few months we have had it, I wish I had bought one sooner, TEA EVERYWHERE! Perfection on a mucky, grey, rainy day.
The sun came out for a moment before we left so I could explode with glee over the golden light of the sunset on the yellow walls with the grey clouds still looming behind, photos do no justice, but I still try... maybe one day I'll capture the magic!
