(Well labor day weekend, I'm a bit behind, but i've been a busy bee!)
One of the MOST AMAZING things about Germany (for me) is that we can ride our bicycles (safely) just about EVERYWHERE. This does get a bit tricky, Jaime and I usually butt heads on the way home when he starts to get tired and thinks I'm going to lug a 80lb dead weight attachment uphill the rest of the way home(I would rather walk), but this is because he peddles so fast on the way there that he is pushing me and i have to use the breaks, the boy is strong! Adeline usually falls asleep, she has the quiet parent and a lovely breeze and BOOM she's in LaLa land, I really should make her a pillow with Velcro for her handle bar, however, when she manages to stay awake she rings Daddy's bell incessantly!
We took a little bike trip to a lovely little market place, where we bought the important stuff, kaffee, tee, eier, liberworst, tomaten, Äpfel, Wurst und Brot...(coffee, tea, eggs, liverworst, tomatoes, apples, sausages and bread) oh yumm liberworst, gone friends, 3 days and it was gone!
The ride was lovely, we brought raincoats as we were supposed to get rain on the way home, but it it held off until the bikes were put away and we were cozy on our couch, then it started to POUR. I'm so glad we didn't let the threat of rain ruin our day.
Oh, it really was such a lovely day!!
