After waiting patiently in long lines(a good bit after bed time) we walked the streets of Bethlehem on a magical moonlit night to experience the story of the Nativity in a beautiful and wondrous way. There were sheep, blacksmiths, a magician, Roman soldiers, market stalls where you could see the sorts of things they would have been selling in Bethlehem in those days(I was entranced by the wool and spinning if you didn't guess). We walked the crowded road and watched as Mary and Joseph searched for a room, we saw the shepherds, we heard the Angel's song, the baby's cry( thanks to a hungry Adeline and her perfect timing LOL) and we remembered all that baby, Jesus, did for us, taking the punishment for our sins because he Loved us. Oh, What a beautiful LOVE it is!
